Hello,

I have a 2001 Manual Pt Cruiser and until now it has ran great and has had no problems but just recently it has started to make a noise as if something was dragging under my car when I accelerate. As I continued to check my car I looked underneath and saw that there was nothing dragging and when I drive it the shifting is a little jumpy. Does anyone know what’s wrong and how I can fix it? I think it may be a transmission problem but I hope it’s not I don’t want to spend $$$$.

Possibly motor and/or transmission mounts. You will need a shop to make the diagnosis.
