The next time you go to start the engine after vehicle has sat a while, turn the ignition switch on so the dash lights come on for two seconds, and then turn the ignition switch off. Repeat this a half dozen times and then try starting the engine. If the engine starts right up, it points to a problem with the anti drain-back valve on the fuel pump. Tester ---

If you have a leaking injector you could clear the excess fuel by holding the gas pedal to the floor while cranking. ---

In addition, a bad engine temp sensor can cause cold restart problems. It determines the temperature of the engine and tells the computer where to set the fuel ratio to start. Cheap but get the right one, not the one for the temp gauge. ---

so where is it on audi i try to change that one for temp bt still doing the same bt when is hot it start quick
