# 2000 Volkswagen Beetle - Multiple warnings

ABS and traction control warning lights are on. brakes work ok but the traction control does not.

If the ABS light comes on, the traction control won’t work so the light comes on to warn you of this.

The brakes work okay on dry pavement in normal driving. They won’t work well in a sudden stop on a wet road. Your car is dangerous to drive as is. Take it to a mechanic ASAP.
