If no distibutor and rotor, something else has to signal when to fire a spark…I think a CPS (crank position sensor) located close to the spinning crankshft pulley / harmonic balancer is the typical setup these days.
Shanonia - is there way to test if it’s Crankshaft Position sensor? (note: OEM part number 90080 19013)
I’m sure there is, but I don’t know how. Some of those electrical sensors fail intermittently when hot before they fail for keeps. There’s probably a correct range of resistance, and if it’s out of that range when the no-start occurs, replacing it is called for - unless it’s just a poor connection, easily fixed.

Coolant Temp sensor is about $25. You just have to lower the coolant level a little and screw it in.
