My car turns off on me ONCE every morning after pulling out of my house. It ONLY happens when it’s cold outside (Dec-Mar as i live in South FL.). I can drive it for 10 blocks exactly but then it turns off either at a light or while in motion. I have to wait 15 minutes and then it turns on again and it’s good for the rest of the day. Where is a good place to start looking for the problem? I have changed spark plugs, ignition coil, ign. switch, distributor, thermostat, and fuel filter. Agh!

Do you have an antitheft system installed?

well i had an alarm system a few years ago but it started to cause electrical problems. It took a few mechanics to be able to uninstall it. Now that I remember, the mechanic said it was tied to the engine somehow and that’s why just disabling it with the button inside the car was not enough.
