# 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 air conditioner

ac only works at idle. blows but hot air. have replaced evap core, orfice tube, and dryer(including sensor on it). no leaks in freon and charged to them right amount

Maybe failed blend door actuator. Failed at “heat” instead of AC. That is a wild guess based on the little you’ve told us in the post.
