# 2000 Cadillac DeVille oil cap popped off and flew

I have a 2000 DeVille , i definitely put my oil cap on properly , when i went to start the car the oil cap poped off so forcefully that it flew over my house and landed on the street

Pull the oil dip stick and smell if there’s gas mixed with the oil.
