The driver side electric window will not roll up all of the way. About 1/4" from the top the mechanism starts to make a clunking sound, like a broken tooth on a gear. Is this a common problem by chance? What might need to be replaced? I would like to thank you in advance for any info you could provide me!

Window regulators fail all the time on many makes of cars with power windows. It’s not a big deal. The door panel will need to be removed and the regulator assembly inspected/adjusted/replaced. Should take about an hour plus parts depending who’s doing it.

One of the places to go is to an auto glass place.
