# 1999 Chrysler Town & Country turns off while driving

Our car will just turn offf while driving  
We put it in neutral gear and it always starts up again. It does this arbitrarily  
without warning. On 2 occasions ,  
it suddenly made a lurching forward  
movement that sort of through me forward. It does it in all situations…sitting in traffic, turning , leaving driveway Thank you

How long has the check engine light been on? Not on?

In any event, you need to describe what is happening more clearly as it seems you have 2 situations here.
