i need help with my wife’s 1998 oldsmobile intrigue. i have replaced the starter with a rebuild from advance auto parts, had the alternator rebuilt and installed a new battery. the car runs until the battery dies and then it will shut down while driving. it can be jumped and started but will die again when the battery drains.

We’ll need a lot more info that that.

If you have a voltmeter, measure the terminal voltage with the car running.
It should be about 14.5 volts or so, after it has been running for a while.

This just sounds like a fuse/wiring problem. Is there a fusible link in that system? It could be broken, and even if the alternator is good, the voltage isn’t getting to the battery. This may or may not turn the dash alternator light on.
