1998 chevy cheyenne 2500 new fuel pump about once a month it won’t start until it sits a few hours after driving

The next time it doesn’t start, check for spark.

If there’s no spark, there’s a few possible reasons.

With just that very limited and vague info, my guess is … it’s old, tired, and ornery. Or maybe it just doesn’t like you.
