Hello everyone. I have a 1995 Toyota Corolla with 4-Cyl, 1.6 Liter, front wheel drive, and 180,000 miles. This morning as I was driving up to work on the freeway (about 65 MPH) the car momentarily decelerated, but quickly regained speed. When I pulled off onto the off-ramp I noticed a noise coming from the front driver’s side wheel. It seemed to be present only when I was moving since I could not replicate the sound at a stop. At first I thought some sort of belt may have broken, but when I pulled into the parking lot at work I checked under the hood. None of my belts were broken on worn. With the car in ‘park’ I pressed the accelerator and could no produce the sound. What could I do to figure out what may have happened to the car and if I would need to bring it into a shop for repair? Also, could the sound be due to failure of my front wheel bearings or more along the lines of a transmission problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mike
