# 1995 mitsubishi eclipse gsx shuddering while accelerating

i test drove a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse gsx today and had only noticed one problem…when stepping on the gas harder than usual the car would start shuddering till it reached 4000 rpms then it would subdue. keep in mind it is manuel. can anyone answer my question of what is happening?
