speedometer stopped working but odometer and trip odometer still work. 1994 astrovan. everything else works fine ---

Likely the speedo itself failed since the van is still getting signals from the transmission to drive the odometer. You’d have to find a replacement dash cluster to fix it or a company that repairs such things as you will not be able to buy a new one from GM for this 24 year old van. Not easy or cheap. Or if you have a smart phone, get a GPS speedo app for free for the phone and a dash holder and use that for your speed. ---

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping to be able to just replace speedo instead of whole cluster. Can’t find anywhere on internet though. Am using a speedo app but wish speedometer worked.
