My Nissan was running rough then stopped. Now will not start. Found loose spark plug wire at distributor. Replaced and checked other plug wires. Unplugged battery cable to reset computer. Then tried spraying ether to eliminate absence of fuel. Still just turns over smoothly but without any bit that it is trying to start. Like no fire getting to plugs. Please advise.

Could be a few things, the ignition control module, the camshaft position sensor, or the crank speed sensor are good suspects. You may want to get a manual and read the troubleshooting protocols.

Thanks. It was the ControlModule.
