I have a 1993 Infiniti G20 with 94,000 miles - it runs good but needs some work - new hinges on driver’s door, exhaust system repair, warning lights blink on and off. Should I put the money into it, or get a new car - we are retired now and can’t afford another Infiniti - it would probably be a Toyota Matrix or Honda Fit.

It may be worth repairing though it may cost a fair amout to have those things fixed. Your mileage is low so there should be a lot of life left in the car. The blinking warning lights may mean the alternator is having trouble and needs to be replaced. Possibly bad diodes inside it.
