# 1993 Honda Civic gas mileage

I have a civic vx. I had one before that regularly got 43mpg per tank of mixed driving. This one is getting 34mpg. I have done all the easy stuff like tune up ect. I have even replaced the fuel pump and filter.

Have you checked the compression?  
BTW, how many miles on it?

Do they have the same type transmission?
