# 1991 Nissan D-21 Hard Body brake noise

Why does my truck have a grinding sound comming from the front brakes but there is no sine of a problem? I have inspected both front brakes and they look fine???

Is the grinding sound come with a very high squeal and how often and when does the noise appear?

When you inspected both front brakes did you remove the wheels first or just squint at them as best you could?

Incorrect friction materials can cause a grinding sound from the brakes. Wrong friction material on the brake pads for the type of rotor material.

Hi I removed all for wheels and looked and felt the roters and looked into the calapers to see the pads… All looked ok and the grinding sound is all the time and each time you aply the brakes… It sounds like front only… Rear is drum.
