# 1987 volvo 740 turbo looses power

My 1987 volvo 740, with 189,000 miles, new plugs and fluid, with out warning looses power on the freeway, the tach goes to zero, and the service light flashes. I then push down on the gas, and the car regains power, and I drive on. What should I check out?
