My 120K mile Nissan is stalling and wont get power only when the weather is really hot. I cant get it to get moving. it is a 5 speed manual transmission. I have to ride the clutch and gas to get it to go. What could be the problem? ---

could this be the fuel pump? ---

Could be vacuum leak, check all hoses and the vacuum advance, vacuum switch, EGR valve, the little flap on the air intake, and the thermal vacuum valve. Could be a sticking or bad EGR valve. One of the bi-metalic temperature compensators inside the air cleaner could be bad, or it could be so hot that they are opening when they shouldn’t. If it’s a California model, the mixture solenoid in the carburetor could be sticking.
