1982 Honda Accord

Californians find rust even scarier than Midwestern buyers because we see so little of it. Out here you would be competing with rust-free cars and that’s a fight you can’t win. Take what you’re offered and be happy it’s not your problem anymore. It was a common car in its day and won’t have significant collector value except to someone who used to own one and loved it. Not going to happen.

There’s an '86 Accord not too far from here listed for 300 bucks or “it’s going to Borg”.
Borg is the scrap metal yard.

I would imagine the OP is probably pretty disillusioned about the comments here but their enthusiasm for a rusty '82 Accord will not likely be shared by most buyers.
On the other hand, some buyers on eBay quite often buy a sight unseen Rust Belt car and discover after the fact that eBay’s Buyer Protection on automobiles really doesn’t mean a thing with older cars. That leads to differences of opinion about fluffing the ad and ethics. :frowning:
