The Vehicle:

 1968 Ford ‘Falcon’ Ranchero

 351 Cleveland 4 bbl. (5.8L)

 3 Speed Auto.

Engine Mileage: 0 [Just got it back from the machine shop]

 The Problem:

The heater hoses- I need to know which one flows out from the engine/pump, and which one flows back into the engine/pump. On the 351C one hose is attached to the block- the other attaches to the pump. I would assume that the one on the pump is the one that flows out TO the heater core- is that correct?

 Thank you.

Yes. The hose from the water pump supplies the heater core with coolant.
