110 source to 12 volt appliance

Never had a problem with buzz or vibration even with full bass.

You may notice the coax and antenna is draped over a garage door rail. I intended to mount the antenna, but the FM reception isn’t great in the shop on some of the stations. So I left it “adjustable”. It’s a cheap “Dual” brand radio. So that may be the culprit.

I’ve also noticed the fluorescent lights kill the reception on the weaker channels. I’m not sure if there’s anything that can be done about that?

Maybe you are old enough to think of it as a vtvm, vacuum tube volt meter

Volt meter, yes :grinning:. DVM threw me off. Wall wart was a new one on me too, but I get it.

“Go to Walmart and get you a wall wart and a DVM.” Huh?

I used a small piece of angle iron fastened on the out side to mount the antenna drilled a hole thru the wall to run the wire thru & sealed with caiuk got better reception & no problem with the fluoresent light’s I used the same radio you are using.
