This truck has about an inch of slack in the gas pedal. I looked under the hood but didn’t find any throttle cable and i have not crawled under the truck. Is the linkage adjustable?

Inch of slack…i push on gas pedal and no reaction for about an inch…

Electronic throttle control, no cable. It sounds like it is in limp-in, is the check engine light on?
