I bought the car with 20,000 miles on it in mint condition. Love it. But…it’s started to make a noise on occasion that sounds like a loose belt. Only happens if the car’s cold and if the weather is cool. Sounds just like a bird chirping when I start the car and as I accelerate it becomes faster. Only lasts 5-10 minutes then I won’t hear it again, sometimes for another week or so. Also, a few times, when I turn the steering wheel as far as it’ll go, there’s a horrible grinding noise. Any ideas? and could either be anything expensive or leave me stranded?

It still may be under warranty so you may want to check that out. There may be something going on with the power steering pump.
