You could and the device is called a proportioning valve. It has an in and an out a knob to adjust line pressure. I’d suggest just replacing the prop valve if you are going down that path.
it’s called. Trying to find one for 03 sonoma/s10 is difficult…I saw a couple on Amazon for abt 45$ but doesnt like as if they will fit.A proportioning valve that is.

If I recall, there’s a button on the proportioning valve you can press if it doesn’t bleed. Kind of a reset. I think most times you can’t press it (it doesn’t give any if it’s not the issue). But again, I’ve never had the proportioning valve be the issue. I may have dreamed this, but it seems familiar.
