# 02 Subaru needs oil @ 4500 intervals, Normal?

I wouldn’t carry around a case of oil except in a true beater.  
No need for the extra weight and wasted space.  
Maybe a couple of quarts.  
My car burns no measurable amount but I carry a quart.
