Mazda rx8 power steering problems

I have. 2004 mazda rx8 with electric power steering. The power steering keeps going in and out on me. Ive checked the connections and they seem to be clean and tight. I don’t know what else to try

RX8 has a problem with the connectors and the wiring harness that connects the rack to the electrical system. Since yours is an early RX8, you should try this how-to thread first:
