The convertible top stops halfway.
There is a sensor for the opening and closing of the roof that might need to be replaced or reprogrammed. but I also found this video that explains a potential problem that you can fix yourself if you are mechanical inclined. it shows how the gear teeth skip a tooth or a few and cause your problem. you need to line up the dots on the 2 gears again. just make sure you retape the cover or the gears might skip a tooth again.
