2000 Nissan Altima Check Engine Light

The check engine light came on my Nissan Altima 2000. I took it to Autozone for the free diagnosis and they explained that it could be one of three problems:

1) Open or short circuit condition.

2) Throttle control motor relay circuit open.

3) Failed relay.

What exactly does this mean? Is it an easy problem to fix?

Thanks

Can’t tell without the DTC’s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)

Tester

Post the actural codes like P1234

A Throttle Control Motor?! Does your car have what is commonly referred to as a “Fly By Wire” throttle? Like this: http://www.picoauto.com/applications/electronic-throttle-control.html I don’t think so; but, bring the actual DTC code, ok?
