Depending on what you are trying to tell us, there is a difference between these two scenarios. Are you telling us that the car simply accelerates slowly, or are you telling us that the transmission does not engage right away when you attempt to accelerate? There is a significant difference between those two problems.
As a result, I am not sure about what you are trying to communicate to us.
