If the courtesy check at Midas (look at the link above or the midas website) is really free, try there to start.
Then you can shop around for the best place/most reasonable to repair it. You can also ask at auto parts stores if they recommend anyone and also at places you frequent - ask around. you may hear the same shop form different people and get an idea of what is available around your new place. Also there are coupons and rebates for repair work and parts for brake work at least on the internet.
