Suspension Auto Level Conversion?

I have a 2005 Suburban 1500 2WD with auto level suspension components. At 9yrs old, the compressor is running very frequently likely indicating a leak in the shocks - I am wondering if anyone has experience replacing the original auto level parts with a conversion kit and installing regular gas shocks instead of the really expensive auto level shocks. Suncoreindustries.com is where I am looking at conversion kits.

Thanks

I replaced the auto leveling system on my Cadillac Fleetwood FWD when it failed. It was just too expensive to replace. I bought a new Firestone air bag system and installed it for a fraction of the Cadillac repair price. Check them out online before you commit to Suncoreindustries. Their prices seem to be quite a bit high compared to Firestone. The Firestone system was not “automatic” though which was a feature that I liked.

If you don’t want to fix your system check with https://www.arnottindustries.com/ for replacement/conversion parts.
